About Rose

**Fostered in Auburn, Alabama** Meet Rose — as sweet as her name suggests! Rose embodies the term "Velcro girl." From the moment she emerged from the car, her mission was clear: stay as close to her person as possible. This 4-year-old is gentle and adores being around people, never having met a stranger. Even the veterinary team fell under her charm, and she reciprocated the affection wholeheartedly. In her foster home, Rose interacts well with most resident animals, including two Great Danes and a Boston Terrier. She does well with two cats who mainly keep to themselves. While she requires respectful introductions, it’s best to proceed with caution around more dominant dogs, as she may react defensively if another dog gets aggressive. Rose is still acclimating to life as a pampered house dog. Couch cuddles and toys are new concepts for her, but she’s eager to learn. She is both house and crate trained, impressively keeping her crate tidy, which is quite a feat for a Great Dane! When outside, Rose behaves impeccably, handling her business quickly and returning promptly to the porch, where she waits patiently with her paws crossed. This loving companion is ready to explore all the joys she may have missed out on. For anyone seeking a loyal friend who thrives on companionship, Rose is the perfect match. Rose is spayed, fully vaccinated, on routine heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is waived, making her even more accessible. Please note: approved adopters must pick her up in person from her foster home in Pensacola, FL. Let’s help Rose find the forever home she deserves!
