About Maurice Aka Mo
Maurice, or Mo for short, is an easygoing, silly Great Dane fostered in Mobile, AL, just across from Pensacola, FL. This big, playful guy was found wandering hungry and flea-bitten on a busy street, but he’s made a sharp comeback at his foster home. He blends well with other dogs—always up for romping and chasing, though he’s a bit too fascinated by cats for their comfort and would do best in a home without them. Mo’s house trained, knows how to use a dog door (and will let you know when he needs out), and handles himself well on a leash and in a crate. He’s got a short, shiny black coat, kept in top shape with regular baths and good food. Evenings find Mo happiest curled up on the couch, ready to keep you company during TV time, always ready for a good snuggle. A fenced yard is a must for him, since playing outside is one of his favorite things. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and you’ll need to pick him up in person—transport isn’t available.
