He was surrendered to a local animal control due to a change in his owner’s living situation, but he's ready for a new home where he can shine. Rocky has a unique energy level that swings between zero and 100; he loves to lounge just as much as he enjoys zipping around, usually coaxing his foster Pittie brother into a playful chase. His larger-than-life personality is something to admire—extremely loyal, smart, and packed with character. Food is his passion; if it's edible, he's interested. He enjoys playtime and adventures but needs some guidance as he sometimes thinks he knows best. He requires an adopter who can provide consistent boundaries and structure. Rocky can be a bit demanding regarding his food, so a quiet space during mealtime will suit him best. While he generally enjoys socializing, he does not get along well with children under 16 due to his dominant nature. He has lived happily with his foster brother but may assert himself around smaller dogs. He’s house-trained to an extent and crate-trained, though he might voice his thoughts about it!
