About Suni
Suni, a small Havanese, landed in rescue with several housemates after living through a hoarding situation. He came in matted with a world of new things to learn. These days, he's growing more curious and confident, especially at his foster home. He’s got a gentle soul and is quick to nudge for pets. Suni loves rolling on the floor, playing with his foster brothers, and always wants to be close to his person. He’s still figuring out independence and can bark when left alone; he’ll thrive with someone home most of the day. While not yet fully house-trained, he’s making steady progress and is crate-trained, though he can be vocal about his opinions. Suni gets along well with other dogs—he may bark at first but warms up quickly, and his slow, steady demeanor should be good for cats too. Kids aged five and older work well, since high chaos can make him uneasy. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a calm, patient family in the CT area who can help him keep learning what it means to be a dog. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
