About Simon

Start your journey together! Apply now. Say hello to Simon, a vibrant one-year-old pitbull mix with a gorgeous white and cream coat. Simon's journey began when he overcame parvo as a brave young pup, and now he's thriving in a loving foster home. This playful, goofy, and deeply affectionate guy is always ready for adventure and full of comical surprises. With a medium-high energy level, Simon enjoys romping around the yard, going on car rides, and making you laugh with his funny habits—like napping and waking up at lightning speed, or gazing out the window just like a cat. Simon’s heart really shines when he's with his canine buddies, and he would love a dog sibling to pal around with in his forever family. He’s house trained, crate trained, and already knows commands like sit and paw—plus, he loves to learn! Simon is working on his leash manners and would really benefit from some structured training as he sometimes gets a bit too excited when he sees other dogs. While he adores people and greets them with his signature grin, Simon is best suited for families with children ages 10 and up. He hopes for a home where he’ll get plenty of play, cuddles, and a securely fenced yard. Simon is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is ready to meet his new family in IL, CT, and surrounding states. If you’re searching for a fantastic companion who’s equal parts cuddle bug and playmate, Simon can’t wait to meet you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
