This four-year-old girl was rescued from a tough situation after spending her early life with dozens of other dogs in an unsafe, overcrowded barn. Pancake may be shy and easily startled at first—her go-to move when scared is to release her bowels, but with patience and empathy, you’ll witness her true, quirky personality shine through. Pancake has a medium energy level and delights in carrying her toys around the house, sunbathing, and playing in the yard. She has low initial affection needs and prefers being in your presence rather than receiving direct attention right away, but she loves sleeping in your bed and being near her humans.
