Hezly is a male Havanese with a charming white and cream, medium-length coat. He is still working on house training, but he is making great progress. He has been neutered and his vaccinations are up to date, adding to the peace of mind for his new family. Hezly is currently located at One More Dog Rescue (Formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails) and is looking for a loving forever home.

Rescued from a large-scale hoarding situation, Hezly arrived under-socialized and in need of learning the basics of being a dog. With the loving support of his foster family, he’s blossoming into a gentle and sweet companion who melts into your arms when you pick him up. Hezly’s medium-length white and cream coat is as soft as his spirit, and his innocent attempts to be brave make him especially endearing. Hezly is a slow-mover in public and still unsure about the outside world, but he’s playful, energetic, and confident at home, especially when running and hopping through the yard. He loves bones, playing with other dogs, spending time with his foster family, and cuddling up to sleep. He’s making steady progress with house training and is crate trained, though he prefers not to be left alone for long stretches. Hezly does well with other dogs (after an initial bark), has proven to be friendly with cats, and would thrive in a patient household with children eight and up due to his nervousness about fast, loud movements. Hezly is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and is available for adoption in Connecticut and nearby states.
