About Savvy

Savvy, affectionately nicknamed Sauvignon Blanc, is a lively 6-month-old Great Dane with a fun-loving spirit. She's currently in foster care and does wonderfully with five other dogs of various breeds, including two Great Danes and a Mastiff. Her playful nature shines as she frolics with her younger companions, often taking cues from her older Mastiff brother. Snuggling is one of her favorite pastimes, whether with people or her furry friends. This energetic pup is fully house trained and enjoys playing with chew toys, especially sticks she finds in the yard. Savvy still goes through her puppy phase, so supervision is key—she loves to pick up socks if left unattended. Visitors make her tail wag with excitement as she zips around trying to engage them in play. Savvy is a special needs dog; she is deaf and has limited vision due to being a Double Merle. This means she relies on visual and touch cues for training, which will be essential for her to thrive. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. Anyone looking for a loving companion should consider this rambunctious girl; she might just become your cuddly white shadow. Savvy's adoption fee is sponsored. Approved adopters must pick her up in person from her foster home in Gulf Breeze, FL. Click apply to start the adoption process.
