About Lady
Lady is a delightful young dog, estimated to be around two years old, with the charm of a Papillon-Chihuahua mix. Weighing in at a sprightly 10 lbs, she was found as a stray and has since had her cherry eye corrected. Lady is sweet, loving, and cuddly. She’s known for her affectionate nature and a sassy personality that shines through once she feels secure in her surroundings. She adores toys, especially plush ones, and loves to scatter them around the house. Lady enjoys walks and snuggling on the couch but can entertain herself when needed. While she is great with other dogs and is starting to engage with her small foster siblings, she can be a bit timid around new people. With some patience, she warms up quickly, revealing her true, lovely self. Though she’s about 75% house trained and still working on her confidence with stairs, Lady is already crate trained and sleeps well in bed. Lady's playful and mischievous side has emerged recently; she enjoys exploring her environment and has learned to open cabinets and doors. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Ideal adopters are dog-savvy, especially if there are kids aged 8 and up. She's ready to find a loving home in CT or nearby.
