Meet Denton, a lovable Beagle currently waiting for his forever home in Dunnellon, FL. Rescued as a stray just a couple of weeks ago, he has quickly adapted to life in a nurturing environment. Denton is a laid-back guy who enjoys the company of other dogs and sometimes joins in their playtime, especially with younger pups. He’s also been around cats and seems to get along well with them too. Denton has a playful side - he loves soft, plush squeaky toys. Leash walking is easy for him, and he's making strides with house training as long as he gets frequent bathroom breaks. While he doesn't yet signal when he needs to go out, he's been holding it well until outside time. Social by nature, he’s affectionate with everyone he meets and even tried to snuggle into laps at the vet’s office!
