In his foster home in Louisiana, he gets along well with other dogs and has adapted beautifully. He even seems indifferent to the resident cat, preferring to focus on the canine companions around him. However, his high prey drive means small animals like rabbits and squirrels will catch his attention. House training is going well, but he enjoys spending time outdoors. A secure fenced yard would be ideal, as Smeagol loves to explore. While he loves being petted and is food motivated, he's not aggressive about it. He may favor his foster dad a bit more but appreciates affection from both foster parents. After completing heartworm treatment, Smeagol is ready for a new chapter in Florida.
