About Lucyloo

Meet Lucyloo, a charming Beagle who's looking for her forever home. After losing her owner, she found herself in the loving hands of Bluegrass Beagle Rescue. Now settled in Florida, Lucyloo has blossomed thanks to the care she’s received. Her skin is healing beautifully thanks to treatment for flea allergic dermatitis, and her playful personality is shining through. While she enjoys meeting other dogs during walks and at the dog park, she initially prefers a dog-free home. However, she’s warming up to a senior male beagle and might do well with an easy-going companion. Surprisingly, she has a soft spot for cats and even gets along with chickens. With a solid house training, Lucyloo is a good candidate for families, though we recommend a home without young children due to her food guarding tendencies. Having some vocal moments initially when left alone, she quickly settles down after about 10 minutes. She's gaining comfort with her crate and often retreats there on her own.
