Arlo
AvailableArlo is a young, neutered male Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog mix with a beautiful medium white and cream coat. He is currently living in Scottsdale, AZ and is fully vaccinated. At 1 year and 7 months old, Arlo is house trained and has a healthy, active spirit. His playful and affectionate personality shines best when he’s part of an involved, loving home.
About Arlo
Meet Arlo! He was at risk in the county shelter after being adopted and returned a few times because of separation anxiety. It turns out, Arlo just needed a real shot—his anxiety faded once he had space to decompress. Today, he’s thriving with his foster, showing off his playful, loving side and building up real confidence. Arlo took a little time to settle, but after the initial adjustment, he really clicked in. He responds well to direction, knows basic commands, and has a huge love for toys and play. He’s happy romping with other dogs or entertaining himself with a favorite toy. Sharing is still a work in progress when it comes to prized toys, though he’s learning quickly. He’s genuinely affectionate, quick to cuddle up to people after he’s burned off some energy, and enjoys walks and hikes. He needs someone who understands that new transitions are stressful for him but that all he really needs is a few days to feel safe. Arlo would do great in an active home—with a couple, a family with older kids (3+ per his foster), or alongside playful dogs. He hasn’t met cats yet. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving dog who wants to be part of the action, you’ll find a true friend in Arlo. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
