About Dash
Dash is a young, medium-sized Siberian Husky found wandering as a stray, now thriving in foster care in Scottsdale, AZ. His foster noticed he's on the smaller side for his breed—under 50lbs—and his thinner coat suits Arizona's heat better than most huskies. Though he was initially shy with kids and men, Dash warms up quickly once treats come into play, becoming affectionate, loyal, and always ready for a cuddle. Packed with typical husky puppy energy, Dash loves playing and learning new things. He’s taken to basic commands and is treat-motivated, though he’ll need someone to keep up the structure and routine. His foster keeps him puppy-proofed since Dash’s mischievous side might land him in the trash if given the chance. He's crate trained and does well during training sessions around other dogs, showing little reactivity; his foster suspects he'd thrive with dog friends. Dash appears curious about cats but hasn't had a proper introduction. Dash is happiest with families who appreciate his playful, active nature and understand he still needs work on boundaries—older kids would do best. He needs a home committed to continued training, regular activity, and plenty of love. If you want a lively companion as ready for adventure as for curling up by your side, Dash could be the perfect fit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
