About Xena
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Xena! Rescued from a challenging situation in Navajo County with 47 other husky mixes, she has proven herself to be incredibly resilient and joyful. Since settling into her foster home, this playful, outgoing girl has become a shining example of adaptability and spirit, quickly learning household routines and showing just how eager she is to please. Her medium-length white, cream, and gray coat matches her bubbly personality, and she is food-motivated, already mastering the doggie door within minutes and having zero accidents inside. Xena does wonderfully with other dogs, both large and small, and has been excellent with children as young as three in her foster home. While she has some hearing limitations, she responds to loud and high-pitched noises, making her partially hearing-impaired but not fully deaf. She has not shown destructive behaviors, though as a puppy, she is still learning and benefits from positive, consistent direction. Her climbing abilities are impressive, so a secure yard with solid fencing is a must, and ensuring no large objects are left by the fence will help keep her safe. Xena adores belly rubs, mealtime, and snuggling at your feet, and her enthusiasm for life is infectious. Since Xena was born on February 9, she is an Aquarius—a sign known for their intelligence and unique charm! She is ready to leap into a forever home where she will be cherished and given opportunities to learn, play, and grow. Ready to open your heart and home to this special girl? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
