About Wesson
Wesson is a 5-year-old Siberian Husky who landed in the shelter underweight and blind in one eye, facing a scary, overwhelming situation. Despite all that, he stayed calm around other dogs, showed no reactivity, and handled leashing and walks without any trouble. Wesson is now in boarding after a very brief foster try; he needs daily eye drops due to lens luxation and possible glaucoma, but the stress of boarding and rotating staff make this difficult for him. A specialist says he could lose his eye if the drops aren’t given regularly, so he urgently needs someone calm and patient to offer him a quiet spot to decompress, gain trust, and — if not adopted — at least fostered. He managed with other dogs in his short foster stay, but needed space and time, so respectful, low-key canine housemates are important. A home without young kids will be best while he’s still decompressing. Wesson is waiting in Scottsdale, AZ for someone willing to give him a real shot at comfort and healing.
