About Chloe
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Chloe is a 3-year-old husky mix (formerly called Mishoni) who underwent quite the journey before landing in the care of AZ Husky Rescue. Rescued from a challenging hoarding situation in Navajo County, Chloe endured fear and stress, particularly after a rough shelter intake. Initially mistaken for aggressive, it became clear after settling into her foster home that she is truly sweet, gentle, and deeply affectionate with those she trusts. With the patient support of her foster family, Chloe has come out of her shell, learning to relax alongside five other dogs. She enjoys her daily walks (wearing a double leash for safety), rides happily in the car, and is learning how much fun a splash in the doggy pool can be. Although learning how to “play” is still a work in progress, Chloe’s endearing quirks—like chasing bugs in the yard and spending time with her deer friend at the fence—have begun to shine. She prefers to nap under the desk and relishes the routine of her foster home. Chloe needs a calm, structured environment with slow introductions to new experiences. She thrives with other confident canine companions, though her prey drive means she’ll do best in a home without cats, small dogs, or young children. Some separation anxiety and mild resource guarding at mealtimes mean Chloe would flourish with an experienced, patient adopter willing to provide consistency, reassurance, and time. She is ready to reward your love with steadfast loyalty and gentle affection. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
