About Sherman

Sherman is a 3-year-old, 95-pound male German Shepherd located in Fairfield, CA. He’s playful, energetic, and shows signs of being very friendly with new people, often jumping with excitement. However, his boisterous nature means he may not be the best fit for homes with small children. Sherman does have a history of living with a Mastiff mix but hasn't been extensively socialized with other dogs, and he must be in a home without cats, as he has not been around them. His previous living conditions weren't ideal—Sherman was either tied or kept outside, so his housetraining skills are still a question mark. Although he hasn't had formal obedience training, he listens well on a leash and responds to basic commands. A calm traveler, Sherman rides well in the back of a truck. Due to personal circumstances, Sherman needs a new home quickly, and while there is no adoption fee, a $400 deposit is required for neutering, which will be refunded once proof of the procedure is provided. This dog is ready to find a loving family to help him thrive. For more details, please reach out to Ceari at 916-917-8995 or Nancy at cabrellis@gmail.com. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
