About Redd

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Redd is a 60-pound, young neutered male German Shepherd Dog and Australian Cattle Dog mix who is affectionate, sensitive, and shy. He does best with slow introductions to new people and environments, especially around males and children. For this reason, he needs a patient household that understands his needs and is willing to help him build trust and confidence step by step. Once comfortable, Redd is incredibly loving and will shower you with cuddles and affection. He gets along with dogs and cats when introduced calmly, always prioritizing comfort for both parties. Redd thrives in an active home where he can go hiking, running, or try agility activities. He would love a home with someone frequently present and willing to continue his training and socialization. His adopter must pre-register for one-on-one training and be ready to help Redd blossom into a more confident companion. Redd is currently safe in a foster home and waiting for the right adopter to help him on his journey. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
