About Millie
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Millie is a striking 3ยฝ-year-old, 65-pound female German Shepherd Dog, known for her sweet, protective, and playful nature. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on all core vaccinations, so she is healthy and ready for her next adventure. While Millie greets people politely when outside the home, she becomes quite protective in her own space and needs to be crated when unfamiliar guests arrive. She thrives in the company of medium and large dogs and regularly enjoys doggy daycare playdates, but she is not suitable for homes with small dogs or cats. Millie is fully house trained and spends time uncrated at home when her people are away. She has attended formal obedience training, walks calmly on a leash, and loves chasing after balls for playtime fun. Due to two incidents where she lunged at children in the family (without biting), Millie needs a child-free household where her boundaries can be respected. Her ideal adopter would have a secure property allowing her space to run and experience the joy of exploring. The family is searching for a new home that matches Millie's needs so that everyone can find peace of mindโand so Millie can truly shine. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
