About Rosie
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Rosie is a loving, playful, and eager-to-bond German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix currently seeking her forever home in Fresno, CA. At approximately 2-3 years old and about 65 pounds, Rosie is spayed, healthy, up to date on all her core vaccinations, and microchipped. She thrives on attention, adores belly rubs, and is well-known for her friendly, affectionate nature. Rosie gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, and she especially enjoys having a canine companion—being left alone for long periods may lead to separation anxiety, so a multi-dog home is ideal for her. She is highly motivated by treats and attention, making her a joy to train. Rosie walks nicely on leash with just a little guidance. Though she has been an outdoor dog for most of her life, she would love nothing more than to become a cherished indoor and outdoor companion for her new family. Her journey to the rescue began when she was saved from the streets by a kind-hearted man named Richard, who spent his life rescuing dogs. After Richard’s passing, his daughter worked tirelessly to find loving homes for all the dogs he left behind—Rosie is now the last one waiting for a family of her own. If you open your heart and home to Rosie, you’ll be honoring Richard’s legacy and gaining a devoted, loving friend in return. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
