Ava is a striking, 1 ½-year-old spayed female German Shepherd weighing around 70 lbs. She brings a lot of energy and a confident, sometimes dominant personality. Ava greets new people with friendliness, whether that's inside the house or out on walks. She hasn’t lived with children or cats, so a home without them is ideal. Joe, her current caretaker, found her at the Woodland shelter after she'd waited there for over three months.
