About Taco
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Taco! This adorable senior Schnoodle weighs just 10 lbs and, though his vision is limited by cataracts, that doesn't slow him down one bit. While surgery was considered to help with his sight, Taco wasn't a fan of the daily eye drops that would be required, so he manages beautifully as is. His resilient spirit is inspiring—he has mapped out his foster home's single level and confidently navigates by following his foster mom, sometimes giving a gentle nose tap to her heels. Taco is a playful and energetic companion who enjoys daily walks, tossing his tennis ball in the air, and squeaky toys. His beautiful smoky gray and cream coat is matched by his joyful personality. He will thrive best in a home where the furniture arrangement doesn't frequently change, making him feel secure as he explores. While Taco continues to work on housetraining, he does well with a regular potty schedule and utilizes a male wrap when necessary. He gets along well with both dogs and cats but is frightened by children, so a child-free, patient home is needed. A fenced yard is essential for Taco’s safety, given his limited vision. Watching him nap peacefully with a kitty friend or shadow his favorite human is heartwarming, and he is crate trained for those times when you need him to rest quietly. He’s neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations, ready for his golden years in a loving home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Taco
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
The Schnoodle is a sociable and adaptable breed, thriving in both apartments and homes, especially when given plenty of family interaction and affection. A calm, predictable environment suits senior Schnoodles well, particularly those with special needs.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Schnoodles enjoy daily walks and playtime, but a large yard is not essential. A fenced yard is ideal for safety, particularly for those with limited vision, but regular walks and supervised outdoor time can meet their needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Schnoodles are generally friendly and affectionate, though individual personalities vary. Seniors or those who are easily startled, like those with visual impairment, may do best in homes without young children or with older, gentle kids.
