About Maurice
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Maurice was discovered as a stray and, though initially unsure in the shelter, he found his confidence in a nurturing foster home where he's truly flourished. He's a vibrant, small terrier/schnauzer mix who adores running and playing outdoors, especially if a fenced yard is available for his lively games of chase and tug. This charming boy is happiest when he's surrounded by canine friends, whether wrestling or solving food puzzles, and he's plenty content entertaining himself with his favorite toys. Within the foster home, Maurice has also shown a gentle, loving side with children—relishing every bit of attention they offer. While house training is sometimes challenging due to Atypical Cushings Disease, Maurice is great about wearing a belly band and using pee pads, and he takes a daily supplement to manage his condition. His affectionate nature, playful spirit, and sweet brown eyes make him a heartwarming addition ready to brighten the right family's life. He’s leash trained, neutered, vaccinated, and would thrive best with a fenced yard where he can let his energy shine. Don’t miss your chance to meet Maurice—his wiggly joy is waiting! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
