Maurice was found as a stray in December of 2025. He was confused and nervous in the shelter. However, he quickly settled into his foster home and is thriving. He loves playing with his foster dog siblings and he loves everyone he meets. Maurice is a very energetic and happy boy! He has a charming, puppy-like demeanor. He loves to play chase and wrestle with his foster dog siblings. He also loves to play with toys of all kinds: balls, stuffies, tug toys, food puzzles etc. He can also entertain himself with toys. Maurice enjoys the outdoors and loves running and playing in a fenced yard. Maurice has been around children and has done very well and soaks up all the attention. Maurice has Atypical Cushings Disease, which makes him drink and urinate frequently, which can be challenging for house training, so he still can have accidents inside. However, Maurice doesn’t mind wearing a belly band/wrap and also is good at using pee pads. He takes a daily supplement to help with his Atypical Cushings Disease.
