About Jingles

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet 10-year-old Jingles, a sweet Miniature Schnauzer looking for his forever family. Jingles is a loving and gentle soul, searching for a special home that understands his needs as a diabetic pup. Diagnosed last year, Jingles had struggled with his weight due to an improper diet. Thanks to careful management—including no table food, a prescription diet, and insulin injections twice daily—he’s now thriving and has already lost 15 pounds since entering rescue. His care relies on consistency, and he handles his injections like a champ. His insulin dosage has even been reduced by half. Jingles adores running and playing with his foster siblings, so a home with a fenced backyard and at least one other dog is a must. He does well on a leash but would benefit from further training, as he can be a bit of a puller. This clever boy is completely housebroken and crate trained but prefers to sleep in the bedroom on a comfy dog bed. Jingles is up to date on all vaccines, prevention, microchipped, freshly dental-cleaned, and neutered. Jingles gets along very well with other dogs and children aged 10 and up, but he will chase cats, so a feline-free home is required. He’s waiting for the perfect family to give him the loving, structured home he deserves. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
