Oscar
AvailableOscar is a young, male Schnoodle with a black, medium-length coat. He is house trained, neutered, and currently enjoying foster care in Miamisburg, OH. Oscar is friendly and energetic, looking for an active environment to match his needs.
About Oscar
Oscar is nearly three, full of energy, and always looking for someone to run and play with—unlike the older dogs in his foster home, who tolerate his attempts but mostly keep to themselves. He craves an active buddy and definitely needs a fenced yard where he can safely burn off steam; otherwise, he'll get restless indoors. Though crate and house trained, Oscar is happiest when he can snuggle on the couch or give kisses. He loves people, greets other dogs with enthusiasm, and does well when boarded. He's a social dog but is both sensitive and quirky: the vet and groomer make him nervous, so he needs some medication and an experienced hand during those visits. Groomers worry about him panicking, so most full grooms are done under light sedation at the vet. Oscar isn’t really into toys but can’t resist cookies or mealtime. He’d do best with another dog to help show him how to settle and play. He loves the snow and keeps a close eye on deer in the yard. He’s best matched with families who have older kids (10+), since his athletic bursts could topple smaller children. Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines and heartworm prevention. His forever home should give him patience, training, and a comfy spot on the couch. Think you could be the one to help Oscar learn the ropes and get the family he deserves? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
