About Danny
Danny is a five-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with a soft gray and white coat and a bright look in his eyes. He came into rescue as a stray, found his footing in foster care, and finished up a round of heartworm treatment—he's clear now and on preventive medication. He’s housebroken and crate trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines. Danny does well with other dogs and cats, though he’s still figuring out play and sometimes thinks he’s in charge. His bond with people runs deep, partly from craving security and a consistent companion; a hearing impairment (he seems partially deaf) means he’ll be happiest with someone around most of the day. Food is a big motivator—he’ll bark with excitement at mealtime but calms down once fed. Danny needs a patient adopter who understands that rescue dogs sometimes come with quirks and a backstory. He’s loyal, affectionate, and will likely follow you from room to room, eager to be a part of whatever’s happening. If you want a dedicated, loving little shadow who gets along well with dogs, cats, and older kids and who’s ready for a stable, gentle home, Danny could be your perfect fit.
