Hildi is a 3-year-old spayed female German Shepherd mix who splits her time between playful bursts and calm cuddles. She weighs about 75 pounds, is healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, and also microchipped for safety. Hildi came into rescue wearing her Emotional Support Animal harness, and it fits her well—she’s very affectionate and great company without being clingy. She bonds quickly with her people and loves to snuggle, though she approaches strangers with caution and a bark or two before warming up. While she hasn't lived with cats, she's gotten along well with other large dogs in her foster home and even handled meeting two older kids just fine. Hildi is house trained, crate trained, and knows her basic commands. She enjoys her toys, never gets possessive, and will gladly join you for a car ride. On leash, she walks nicely unless another dog passes, in which case she can react, but her treat motivation and willingness to learn make her highly trainable for someone patient. Her love for balls and playtime rounds out her personality as both a fun companion and a reliable housemate.
