Meet Kira! This sweet and spunky pup was rescued along with 13 other dogs from the overcrowded Bakersfield shelter during our Fourth of July rescue mission. At just 7 months old, Kira is already full of personality, and we’re so happy she’s now safe and starting her journey toward a forever home. Kira is a black and tan shepherd mix with a playful spirit and a heart of gold. She is playful, sweet and silly. She loves toys and playing with people and other dogs. She spreads smiles everywhere she goes! She is so smart. She’s already mastered crate training, and potty training! We expect Kira to be around 60-70 pounds when full grown. She’ll go home up to date on all her vaccines (DAPP, Bordetella, and rabies), microchipped, and spayed; ready to start her next chapter with a loving family!
