About Kendall

Kendall is currently being fostered in Pensacola and requires a securely fenced yard. She’s a striking Great Dane and Mastiff mix, about two years old, and survived three tough weeks on her own in the woods before she was caught and brought into rescue. She’s now safe and settling into her new life, working through heartworm treatment with the slow-kill method, but it doesn’t dampen her spirit at all. Around her people, Kendall is calm and sweet-natured. When she’s around other dogs—especially submissive types—she’s all play: expect energetic romps, some wrestling, and enthusiastic antics. With other confident or dominant dogs, she’ll let it be known exactly where the boundaries are. She does best with canine companions who understand she likes to be in charge. If you want a dog who can be both a laid-back snuggler and a lively playmate, Kendall fits that bill. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. All adopters will need to pick Kendall up in person from her foster home, as transport isn’t provided. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Great Dane and Mastiff mixes are usually gentle giants and, like Kendall, can be quite sweet with children when properly socialized and supervised. Their large size does mean play should always be monitored.
