About Tilly On Hold
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Tilly, a tall and tender Siberian Husky whose journey of resilience will tug at your heartstrings. Tilly comes from a difficult background, having only known life in backyard breeding and the shelter system before arriving at a loving sanctuary in North Carolina. Initially shy and unsure of herself, Tilly is blossoming under the care of her foster mom and canine companions. She now approaches for pets and eagerly accepts treats, marking brave steps forward each day. Tilly closely resembles her father, Pedro, with a lanky frame and is expected to reach about 70 pounds when fully grown. She is searching for a calm and predictable home, ideally with confident and playful dogs who can help her build trust and grow her confidence. Tilly thrives in the company of other dogs and loves to play, so a securely fenced backyard is essential to let her safely explore and build her sense of security at her own pace. While she may be timid with strangers at first, her gentle spirit shines once she feels safe. Tilly is 7 months old, spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered in North Carolina but can be transported to a loving home anywhere in the eastern US for an approved adopter. The rescueβs foster-based model ensures Tilly is learning the ropes of family life, and adopters will receive valuable insight on helping her continue to settle in. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
