About Flash
Flash is that rare, easygoing dog with a real spark to her personality. Just about a year old and already spayed, house trained, and crate trained, she came in underweight from life on the streets but has rebounded into a loving and playful companion. Sheās likely a mix of Belgian Malinois, shepherd, Kelpie, and maybe a dash of pit, but what matters most is her soft, short coat and those alert, good-natured eyes. Flash warms up quickly when treats are involved and bonds deeply with her peopleāher favorite thing is to cozy up close and melt into a good cuddle session. Sheās especially good with kids and adults, though a minute to get her bearings with strangers is appreciated. Once settled, her goofy side shines: youāll find her tossing balls for herself, sprinting around with bursts of puppy energy, and transforming simple leash walks into joyful outings. Although sheās athletic enough to clear a four-foot fence, sheās only interested in being where her people areāno wanderlust here. Flash gets along well with other dogs and loves rowdy play, but will need ongoing training to meet her full potential. Sheās smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. She is ready for moderate activity, not marathon distances, and doesnāt shed much at all. Flash is in Columbia, MD, waiting for a home as steady and affectionate as she is.
