About Cooper
Cooper is a nearly three-year-old white Siberian Husky with striking blue eyes who stands out from the typical Husky crowd. Unlike most of his breed, he’s remarkably calm, rarely howls, and prefers a quieter approach to life. Cooper’s deeply affectionate, thrives on human attention, and will gladly join you for a cuddle. He does well with children and cats, and gets along with dogs under 25 lbs, but isn't suited to life with larger dogs or rowdy dog parks—his new home should find other, creative outlets for his breed’s natural need for stimulation and exercise. Visitors are always greeted enthusiastically (sometimes a bit too much, with the odd item knocked over in his impromptu love-dance), so ongoing impulse control training is recommended. He enjoys his walks but will need continued work on leash manners; Cooper can pull when excited but is ultimately more interested in enjoying the moment than causing trouble. Car rides, storms, and fireworks don’t bother him, and he’s shown no resource-guarding issues. Cooper is perfectly content being left uncrated at home. True to his Husky roots, he loves snow, but he’s not a fan of hot, humid days. Give him a set of durable chew toys—he’ll demolish anything flimsy in seconds—and he’s happiest watching animal shows on TV. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
