About Nick

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Nick is a 1.5-year-old Siberian Husky with stunning eyes and an outgoing personality that shines in his medium-sized, 51-pound frame. True to his breed, Nick is a lively, mischievous, and charming companion—and embodies everything husky lovers admire! Nick’s journey has had its challenges. Previously adopted and then returned for behavioral issues like crate escapes, chewing wires, and some mouthing behavior (none of which required medical attention), Nick simply found himself with a family unprepared for his breed’s needs. He is now thriving in rescue, where his unique spirit is fully appreciated. Active and playful, Nick needs plenty of exercise and stimulation every day. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs and enjoys wrestling with both males and females, making him a fantastic playmate for social, rough-and-tumble dog friends. Because he’s still in a mouthy, nippy phase, he’s best suited to a home without small children. Sometimes vocal, Nick brings plenty of personality! For his new home, Nick will thrive with a fenced yard or an active adopter committed to regular leash exercise. He’d be a great fit for doggy daycare or dog park outings. His adopter should be patient and ready to build on his basic manners. Nick is housebroken and crate trained, though he prefers sturdy crates that can keep up with his clever nature. If you’re looking for a spirited, youthful husky ready to share adventure and love, Nick is waiting for you. He’s currently in Virginia but can be transported within the eastern US for the right match. With a home that understands husky quirks, Nick promises to blossom into the loyal companion you’ve been searching for. This could be the start of something paw-some.
