About Nika
At just 11 months old, Nika came into the rescue as a stray with a painful eye condition. She didn't let it stop her—her surgery was a success, and she's now ready to start fresh. Nika is the definition of a pure Husky puppy: bright, playful, and loaded with energy. She gets along with other dogs—she genuinely lights up with canine friends and needs a home with playful companions who can keep up with her pace. A securely fenced yard, at least six feet tall, is an absolute requirement. Anything shorter and she'll be over in a flash. Nika's energy isn’t just abundant, it’s contagious. Five minutes with her and even the most stoic person will crack a smile. Her best-fit adopter will have some Husky experience, as she’s clever, mischievous, and never stops moving. She’s not suited for a sedentary lifestyle or long stretches alone; plan on doggy daycare or plenty of activity if you’re away during the day. Nika is spayed, vaccinated, house trained, and ready for a life that matches her big personality and high spirits. She doesn’t get along with cats, but is great with kids and dogs. Located in Millersville, MD, she’s available for adoption throughout the Eastern U.S. Give her the home she’s been waiting for. Apply today.
