Dog's Name: Baby Blaze (BLA1026ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Sheepadoodle Approximate Age: 14 weeks Approximate Weight: 17 lbs Currently Living at: Coming soon... Adoption Fee: $750 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Attention Doodle lovers... meet Baby Blaze! This adorable scruffy boy came to us all the way from Alabama, and he is ready to steal some hearts! Blaze is a 14-week-old, 17-pound Sheepadoodle (Old English Sheepdog/Poodle mix) with an irresistible face and an even more wonderful personality! Blaze has the sweetest disposition. He is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and playful, but he also knows how to settle down quickly when playtime is over. He's a smart little guy, too! He already knows some basic commands and is eager to learn more. At just 14 weeks old, he is at the perfect age for continued training, socialization, and growing into the amazing companion we know he will be. With his loving nature, intelligence, and playful spirit, Blaze has all the makings of an excellent family dog. He's the total package—brains, looks, and a heart of gold! Don't wait to apply for this handsome little fella! A pup as special as Blaze won't be available for long! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
