Meet Buster! He’s a sweet, happy boy who’s the ultimate companion and sidekick. Naturally social, this joyful pup loves being with his people and is always ready for new adventures. Buster was rescued from a rural county shelter, where his standout social skills with other dogs captured the attention of one of our amazing foster moms. He has flourished in his foster home with Travis, Laura, and their two playful dogs, fitting right into the pack from day one. Happy-go-lucky and affectionate, Buster loves being part of the action. He sticks close to his foster parents, eager to lend a paw with whatever they're doing. This easygoing guy wants to please and doesn’t look for conflict. Buster is smart and well-mannered, mastering the essentials of being a house dog. He's housetrained, crate trained, and he walks nicely on a leash. Buster knows basic commands like sit and shake, and is always ready to show them off for a treat. He’s a natural with other dogs, thriving on playtime and enjoying the company of a canine friend in his forever home. Buster shares toys and treats well and loves a good game of tug-of-war. His foster dad, Travis, notes he’s very adaptable, having adjusted wonderfully to life with their bigger dog, Penny, even cuddling up together. Buster is also an excellent car rider, having enjoyed several fun road trips with his foster family to Paw Paw, WV. He explores the trails happily but always keeps a close eye on his people. His recall is impressively good, making every outing that much more enjoyable. As an active young dog, Buster thrives with a family that enjoys fun activities.
