Meet Harlow! After raising her puppies, it's finally Harlow's turn to find the loving home she's always deserved. This sweet Beagle girl was found as a pregnant stray in rural South Carolina and gave birth to her puppies in a local shelter. Thanks to the support of a rescue partner, Harlow and her babies were given a second chance. Her puppies have all found homes, and now this gentle mama is ready to shine on her own. Harlow is settling well into her foster care. She's proven to be an easygoing girl once she feels comfortable, although she does take a little time to acclimate in new situations. With a "live and let live" attitude, she integrates smoothly with the other dogs in her foster home, relishing their company but also thriving as an only dog. Whether as part of a pack or your sole companion, Harlow simply enjoys being included. This moderate-energy dog loves exploring the outdoors, making new friends, and, above all, playing with toys. Her foster mom raves about her toy enthusiasm; Harlow loves to empty the toy basket, entertain herself, and sometimes zoom around the house in pure joy. She's also met new people well and recently enjoyed her first spa day, managing her bath and nail trim like a champ. While adjusting to domestic life, Harlow is still learning the ropes. She's making excellent progress with housetraining, does well in her crate, and is developing leash skills. Though she can be curious about kitchen counters or jump into laps unexpectedly, she's not destructive—just figuring things out. What truly stands out is her gentle, loving nature. Watching her embrace affection has been a joy, and now she’s ready to transition from being a mom to a devoted companion.
