Polly’s journey began in a rural shelter, where as a puppy she was rescued from an unsafe situation and held until she could be released. Coming into rescue, Polly was unfamiliar with many aspects of the outside world – but, with gentle guidance, she’s learned to conquer stairs, enjoy car rides, and thrive on neighborhood walks. Thanks to two devoted foster families, Polly has grown in confidence and happiness. She flourishes best with other dogs, gaining courage and comfort from canine companions, and would do wonderfully in a home with another playful, social pup. She’s affectionate, sweet, and loves nothing more than cuddling close for a hug or giving kisses.
