About Nigel
Nigel is a resilient dog with an extraordinary backstory. He was born on a ranch in Central Texas and spent the early part of his life among livestock guardian dogs, goats, and cattle. Initially, Nigel and his siblings were feral, reacting with fear whenever we tried to approach them. However, through patience and care, they've learned to trust humans again. Living in a barn alongside other animals has helped Nigel adapt, and he has become increasingly social around goats and barn cats. Though we can’t confirm his exact lineage, Nigel’s mix is likely influenced by Akbash and Great Pyrenees breeds. This means he’s a large dog with a gentle temperament, and he gets along well with other dogs. He’s already been neutered, so he’s ready for a forever home.
