About Rudy
Rudy is a spunky 6 to 8-year-old neutered male Miniature Dachshund who has bounced back beautifully after experiencing neglect. Weighing in at just 7 lbs, he's got plenty of energy for playtime and loves to zip around outside. His past hasn't dulled his goofy charm—once Rudy feels comfortable, you'll find him making himself at home on fluffy pillows or nestled in your lap. Coming from a city shelter, Rudy has received all necessary medical care, including vaccinations and a dental procedure. He gets along well with other dogs and even enjoys the company of cats, whether big or small. However, we recommend a home without young children, as they might be too overwhelming. Older kids who respect his space should be just fine. Rudy is house trained, does well with doggy doors and pee pads, but may need some extra help with belly bands if you're away for extended periods. This little guy is ready for a loving home where he can thrive. Ready to meet him? Click apply to start the adoption process.
