About Offa
Offa is a tiny Dachshund mix with a gentle, sensitive nature. At around 3 years old and just 8 pounds, he's a quiet little guy still learning that people can be kind. He may come across as shy at first, especially around new faces, but patience goes a long way with him. Give him some time, a calm environment, and a few treats, and Offa's trust starts to show. Once at ease, he relaxes into affection and enjoys companionship with those he knows best. He's crate trained and finds comfort there, but is still working on house training and getting used to walking on a leash. A family that can keep building his confidence at his pace will set him up best. Offa was rescued in rough shape—he arrived covered in ticks and fleas. After a full vet workup and a dental, he’s healthy and feeling better. Offa needs a calm, loving home where he can keep blossoming. He gets along with other dogs and will thrive with adopters who can offer patience and gentle structure as he finds his footing. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
