About Tiny

Tiny spent his early years in a tough spot, rescued with a dozen others from a hoarding situation just before winter set in. He's a two-year-old dachshund and chihuahua mix, small at around 9 lbs, with a soft short coat in black and silver. After enduring severe neglect, he arrived covered in fleas and full of worms, but he’s come a long way since. Now neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, Tiny is heartworm negative and ready for a fresh start. Affection drives Tiny—he craves attention and would do well as an only dog, though he can adjust to living with other dogs given a little time. He cannot live with cats. He’s not yet house trained and may need a male doggie diaper while he settles in; patience and routine will help him learn. He is currently fostered in Chickasha, OK, and an adopter will need a securely fenced yard (no invisible fences), provide a vet reference, and complete a home visit. All current pets should be fixed and up to date on heartworm prevention, as required by the rescue. Ready to give Tiny the caring home he’s never had? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
