About Mac
Meet Mac, a 4-year-old male Lab/Golden mix, looking for his new home. Weighing in at 85 lbs, Mac is neutered and has a short coat in a striking red, chestnut, and orange blend. Mac's family needs to rehome him due to some scuffles he had with their other dog and cats around young kids. They want to ensure everyone's safety. Even though he has shown resource guarding tendencies in the past, he's been great with their children and truly enjoys being a part of family activities. Mac loves to be the center of attention, is affectionate, and gets along well with older kids. He has a big backyard to play in and enjoys fetching, swimming, and even going for car rides. Mac is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows a slew of commands like "sit" and "stay." While he's strong and may pull a bit on the leash, he’s a wonderful companion who brings a lot of joy. Mac would thrive in a home without other dogs or cats. He’s not suited for someone unsteady on their feet, but he’s fantastic with older children. If you’re ready for an engaging, playful dog, Mac might just be your perfect match. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
