About Chance

Chance is a 5-month-old yellow Lab mix puppy with a loving, gentle spirit and a strong playful side. He came to rescue with five littermates after being pulled from a backyard breeder situation. In foster care, Chance has shown he's a gentle giant—already about 40 lbs and expected to grow much bigger. He's sweet-natured with kids and respectfully follows the lead of the resident older dog. Chance loves a good cuddle and always looks for a comfy spot to settle down. He does well in his crate when left alone and is making steady progress, though still prone to typical puppy mischief like chewing whatever’s in reach. He enjoys a game of tug-of-war and already gets along with other dogs and cats in the home. He follows confidently on the leash if he has a dog friend to show him the ropes, but is still learning when solo. Chance is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and awaiting his neuter. Preference will go to a home with another friendly dog or cat for company. He's ready to grow into a devoted companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
