About Stella
Meet Stella, a charming young Rottweiler on a journey to find her forever home. Rescued last September, Stella was found frightened and malnourished in the road. A kind-hearted person took her in, and while car rides aren't her favorite, she appreciates the ride to safety. After a few months of searching for her family, Stella was declared homeless as no one came forward. With proper care and the companionship of another dog, she's revealing her sweet personality. She can be shy and cautious around new people and situations, particularly men, but warms up quickly with a little patience. Stella enjoys playing gently with her toys and lounging around, making her a laid-back companion. She's now house trained, spayed, and vaccinated. Stella thrives in a calm environment and would benefit from consistent training and attention. While she may chase bunnies in the yard, her prey drive is low, making it possible for her to coexist with a cat, given a slow introduction. She's great with her foster dog sister and would do well in a home with another dog and older children, around 12 and up.
