Coco is an 8-year-old spayed female Rottweiler looking for a dedicated home. She's currently in Redmond, WA, and ideally needs an adopter experienced with her breed. Although Coco can be friendly, she tends to be a bit aloof and is selective about her human interactions, especially with new people. While she appears to be okay with other dogs, she would thrive best in a home without cats or small children. Coco has had quite a journey; previously living with her owner in a nursing home, she now needs a stable environment to enjoy her golden years. She’s pretty food motivated and needs to shed some extra pounds to improve her health. Currently, she is about 20 pounds overweight and has an ear infection requiring care. Her appetite for toys is undeniable—she loves to play with her stuffie toys. Despite some initial discomfort regarding handling, especially around her ears, she is smart and adapting quickly to a new routine. Coco loves hikes and would be a great outdoor companion. She can pull on the lead, so patience and perhaps a harness will be necessary as she adjusts. Ultimately, Coco needs a calm and quiet home where she can relax and take her time to settle in.
