About Boaz
Boaz is part of a bonded Rottweiler sibling pair who’ve spent their lives together but could be adopted separately if required. Raised since puppyhood with a family of young children, Boaz is used to being around kids and tends to gravitate toward them—he tries to join in their games and genuinely enjoys their company. Lately, changing family routines mean he’s spending long hours with little interaction, so he’s looking for a home where he won’t be so alone. Boaz has a sensitive side: he can be shy with strangers, especially when introduced to people wearing hats or sunglasses, but he warms up and seeks out affection in time. He’s more relaxed than his sister and isn’t a typical “hoover” eater; he tends to be picky and sometimes struggles with seasonal allergies. These are managed with a sensitive stomach diet and allergy chews, plus regular care for his ears. Boaz is house trained, knows his basic commands, and absolutely loves to play fetch or chase. While both siblings need more socialization, Boaz is friendlier when meeting new dogs. His leash manners need a little work, as he’s not used to regular walks, but he’s eager to please. He hasn’t lived with cats, so his compatibility is unknown. Boaz is still intact and not current on vaccines, so the adopter must be prepared to arrange for neutering and routine veterinary care. He’s looking for a family ready to welcome a loyal, affectionate companion who’ll need time to build trust and plenty of interaction. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
