About Charlie Boy

Meet Charlie Boy! This charming Rottweiler/Labrador mix is about 2 years old and ready for a new beginning. He’s currently a courtesy post for House of Hope in Shelton, WA, where he has spent the last few months waiting for the right home. Charlie Boy was surrendered by his previous family due to a lack of time for him. He is affectionate, playful, and loves to be close to his humans, often acting like a big lapdog. Having lived with six other dogs during his time at House of Hope, he’s done exceptionally well with them. However, he tends to prefer female dogs and would do best with a confident canine companion. While he can be a bit fear-reactive in unfamiliar situations, he settles down pretty quickly with patience and care. Charlie would thrive in a calm, quiet environment where he can enjoy his favorite activities like fetching toys, lounging in the yard, and going for walks. Charlie Boy is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, house trained, and crate trained. He knows some basic commands and is eager to learn more. If you’re interested in adding this gentle spirit to your family, please submit an adoption application. His adoption fee is currently sponsored, covering $350, ensuring he finds a loving home. Let’s make Charlie Boy’s next chapter the best one yet!
