RED OWNER TO OWNER ADOPTION ASSISTANCE. TIMELINE URGENT. SHARE IF YOU CARE! PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Maverick is an owner to owner adoption placement to a qualified match. RED has not evaluated this dog and information is provided by the caregiver/owners. He is in Kitsap County Washington. This handsome Rottweiler was born in Oregon in 2023. He is current on his vaccines, is microchipped, has been neutered, and has a vet of record. Maverick is a big boy with a joyous, loving, athletic, goofy personality. He is seeking a home that loves and understands this breed’s needs, and can move him forward on his ongoing education, communication and cue skills. This breed requires instruction and clear positive guidance. We need someone to spend training and life time with him and work with his joyful enthusiasm, giving him the structure and clarity he is asking for. He likes to cuddle and play, and he has a great personality and temperment base to learn from for people who understand power breeds. He is currently staying with a senior family member of the former owner who cannot keep him, but wants a solid match for him. They have some support and care life changes coming up quickly so we need this boy matched placed by the end of April beginning of May. "He's a good boy and we love him too much to not find him a place to be happy". He will need a homeowner with a appropriately fenced yard, breed type, and training experience. Maverick loves children but can be too exuberant at times and children lack the dog language and cues needed to help him know what is too much. So we think No small children as he needs to be wrapped in clarity, focus and learning. This boy is ready for his life partners that bring love, a history of life with dogs, and skills that teach in a positive way with dog launguage. We are excited to see him thrive in love and learning.
